Periodical Lectures

ICPR organises Periodical Lectures every year through colleges and universities to promote philosophy among young students in different cities of India on a low-cost budget. Senior scholars of the area are invited to lecture to young scholars and teachers.

National Lectures

To acquaint Indian scholars with the thought of contemporary leading philosophers and to give opportunities for close interaction, the Council invites Indian and foreign scholars every year to deliver lectures. Visiting Professors deliver a series of three or more lectures in at least three universities. The universities are given a grant of ₹35,000 to invite scholars from their region; besides travel and local hospitality, the Council pays the invited professor a token honorarium of ₹20,000.
